had to rush down to ICA building at like 8am in the morning to collect passport and thank God it was a relatively painless process. I was expecting long queues, angry crowds and disgruntled ICA officials. thankfully none of the above listed were present. I zipped in, tapped a few numbers, signed a few forms and was out in like 20 mins or less. I love how systematic and organized Singapore is sometimes. noticed how i said SOMETIMES? new passport looks awesome, my passport photo looked as if I just killed someone, burnt down his house and then beat the crap out of his mom.
down to vivo again of course and its now something like a second home to me. Causeway Point bored the living daylights out of me at like age 18 and Town was getting awfully repetitive as well. didn't like having to jostle for space alongside pesky schoolkids either. so it was Vivo then since it provided everything. caught Money No Enough 2 simply because it was a local production and i support local cinema. ( HAHAHA. *guffaws* what a lie, actually we watched it simply because there was nothing else in store and Journey to Centre of the Earth bombed at the reviews. or so i heard lah)
but the show was good lah. plenty of tearjerking moments towards the end and my dear girl was futilely trying to disguise the fact that she was tearing up by hiding behind the jacket.
hahaha, cuteness
settled my UOB stuff as well. submitted even more forms, converted my signature and declared a few irrelevant stuff as well. I hate it how bank officials give you a tough time over the counter. and of course the queues as well. and they tend to use those banking jargon on you like as if you were ever in the banking/finance industry. like WTH lah. smoke grenades were being thrown around and luckily for my part, RP firmly equipped me with a mindset(and mouth) specially formulated to counter verbal smoking. no one does it better than me. ask my RP friends.
hahahahaha.
supposed planned drinking session later that night didn't go well resulting in a very annoyed cedric & his army friends. I hate it how things get so indecisive and poorly planned and promises were made but not kept. maybe its because of the fact how army guys like everything to be constructively planned, discussed and carried out. guys who haven been in the army just wouldn't understand that. well, poor sods who have yet to enlist, you'll learn it the hard way. i guess insensitivity played a major part last night too. never mind, as i was telling shandy. Both good and bad times i guess.
I really should curb my temper, but the effort of making a wasted trip down not only for myself but for my friends as well thus giving the impression that I am inept at planning stuff makes my blood boil.

2 more weeks of jurong island and its back to camp for us poor sods. this week's gonna be much much easier, so in fact I'm looking forward to booking in. a real bummer would be the fact that its national day and I'm gonna miss watching it on TV. as with every army guy, you tend to want to pay careful attention to the marching contingent's drills, marching and the commands given.
its a guy thing.
