sembawang wharves is a major improvement compared to jurong island. the facilities, accommodation and even the people. more stuff to see as well.
we got to see the navies of the major powers on show, newly shipped cars of all makes and of course, the occasional SAM. otherwise abbreviated from Siao Ang Moh. refers to caucasians who head back to their ships drunk and rowdy from a wild night's out(possibly at orchard towers) and try to assault or snatch your rifles. if that fails, you'll be lucky to escape with just a verbal tirade from some 1.8m lumbering white piece of trash.
then of course we mustn't form stereotypes lah. there were some very well behaved ones as well. like those who attempted to make small, friendly talk with us. pity the fact that we either couldn't understand their thick accents or that we weren't actually permitted to talk to civilians while on duty. but we do make the occasional exception when it comes to cute blondes/brunettes though :p
some even thanked us for doing our jobs well and cheered us on. little things like those can really warm our hearts and draw smiles from our weary faces.

and i think i must win the most accolades for being completely dumb. who in this world would sell his otherwise in-perfect-condition black psp for half price to his buddy simply because he wanted a bright red emo looking psp to match his side persona?
yeah, thats me. always figured that I had a screw loose somewhere up there.
and i just remembered this infamous quote by KK which was in turn quoted from his BMT sergeant. would definitely use it on my kids just to crack myself up in years to come

classic lah, really. the level of english totally blew me away. I couldn't stop using it for the whole week(which proves the fact that I'm really easy to please and that I'm an idiot)
