24 hours long and I barely even managed to get 3 hours of sleep. deprivation of human rights man.
I don't even remember previous guard duty shifts getting this bad.
It got to the extent where I started hallucinating and imagining things while prowling in the wee hours of the morning. hahaha yeah, that bad
evidence that tired & disillusioned NSFs can dream up even the wildest shite' that would possibly never ever happen. my partner & I got the standard chills down our backs whenever we ventured into the more ulu areas. always a silent prayer then for whatever beings of the night amongst us, I believe.
and then my magazine from my rifle decided to pop out on its own, fall off and hit the ground with a loud thud. minutes later, the same thing happened to my buddy. at times we got that feeling where we knew we were being watched/observed. by what, God knows(:
but nah, nothing major happened. I'm still alive and kicking. just need a lot of sleep.
deployment ended, would rest for a month before deploying to SembawangWharf.
new place, new experience, new stuff to pick up i guess.
major activities in army coming up, very physical, even more taxing on the mind.
what doesn't kill you does eventually make you strong, I HOPE.
