graduation ceremony was on the 13th and all i remembered from that day were photos and more photos. I must have taken up to 250 pictures i think. didn't actually count them though
would have to return the camera to a certain good friend of mine and SHE would have to cope with the arduous back-breaking task of transferring them to her comp and then passing 'em to me via portable HDD. god bless.
i felt like a superstar on that day man. sooooo many photo requests minus the autographs.

first up, i gotta declare that my dad's one awesome parent.
postponed his trip to attend my graduation ceremony and driving up from Katong at like 7am and promptly getting himself lost in Woodlands. then he ranted that my block's a chore to find. HAHAHA.
close friends would know my parental situation. so i was really proud that he took the trouble to attend. the look in his eyes truly touched and warmed my heart. and like every other (over)enthusiastic parent present then, he obviously saw the need to take as many photos as possible and display them on his handphone's wallpaper. had to repeatedly reinforce my claim that I BORROWED A CAMERA TO TAKE PICTURES to him
some friends commented that in terms of appearance, I'm a chip off the old block. i couldn't find any reason to disagree.
the ceremony itself was rather uhhhh.... bladder wrenching i shall say.
it took like forever to reach the turn of us DIT people and i never realized we had so many SEG people. some with really bombastic names.
we weren't allowed to pay a visit to the humble ol' water closet during the long wait and I experienced a sensation likened to a reverse orgasm. YEAH. especially when my surname starts with W. all the way behind.
the moment soon dawned upon and it was my turn to march up stage to receive that all important piece of paper after 3 years of polytechnic education. WOW. WHAT A MOMENT IT WAS REALLY. WAS BOTH A MOMENT OF POWER AND PAIN.
we all know where the pain came from. darted for the toilet immediately after receiving my diploma along with Angeline and was stopped by two student ambassadors. assholes. was told to return to my seat and wait till the end of the ceremony.
few wise words into open eardrums and out the other end swiftly followed and then it all ended.
the cam-whoring soon started on a massive scale.

a whole evening of rest and the celebrations resumed at town and then Changi Village for makan with friends.
YY got all excited at spotting his colleagues there doing their rounds.
Changi Beach's certainly a place I wouldn't wanna be stuck at alone after dark. Dexun was petrified and we all rubbed it in. everyone chipped in with supernatural experiences. poor guy gets spooked by the slightest tremors and sounds and was probably close to tears.
even the girls were entertained by his antics. we should have girls in the commandos man.
cracked all sorts of nonsensical jokes. most of which do not make sense. haven laughed like that for quite a while. sometimes i really think I'm too tensed up and stiff la. always unwilling to adopt that "cock loose and lawsuit free" attitude.
would do me good to just let go of things in the past, appreciate what Life has in store for us and move on.
after last night, i made a resolution to get my driving license. and I would fulfill it.

I NEED TO WORK.
