Ancien Adieu went rather sucky really. and it was like a prom unlike any other prom.
everyone was decked out in their finest though and I couldn't recognise some people initially.
was a whole fashion parade of masks, blazers, heels, flashy tops and makeup and some people turned up looking waaaaaaaaaay overdressed. felt like a trip down the Night Safari.
what to do, poly people are funny i think. interesting really to see mats trying really hard to achieve that I-AM-IN-A-BLACK-BLAZER-BENEATH-A-REALLY-BLINGBLING-MASK-AND-I-LOOK-COOL-AND-
MYSTERIOUS look
lets not forget the cheenafied folk trying even harder! to etch out that I-AM-DECKED-OUT-IN-WHITE/BLACK BLAZER/GOWN-WITH-A-LOT-OF-SEQUINS-AND-DETAILS-AND-I-AM-JAY CHOU/JOLIN TSAI-TONIGHT look.
for fucks sake, its held at TRCC. not so glamorous hotel and even our finest hotels wouldn't exactly warrant that amount of overdressing.

RP got this gambling company to come in with their gambling chips, equipment and hardware along with croupiers and the peacocks went high splashing their chips. I remember Victor winning big at the tables. HAHA. took quite a bit of persuasion to drag him off to take pictures
" WOAH. RP IS AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE AND THEY DON'T PROMOTE THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL WITHIN ITS PREMISES, BUT GAMBLING IS FINE BECAUSE THE INTEGRATED RESORT IS COMING UP AND WOULD PROVIDE JOBS FOR POTENTIAL DIPLOMA GRADUATES. "

the food was from the Four-Seasons Hotel and it was great stuff. except for the Pineapple rice which tasted like rocks. I didn't manage to eat a lot though. spent most of time posing and smiling. and then more pictures
would have to go around asking everyone for pictures now. I can only vaguely remember who I took with and who I didn't take with.
the auctions held later in the night cracked me up because they were people bidding for items waaaaaay past their market shelf price without realizing it. it was evident that some people have never been to an auction in their entire lifetime before.

cabbed back home shortly with YY to deposit the bling and heavy items before cabbing down to Clarke Quay for makan and The Clinic.
fun started there and Victor got really high. i don't know why really. that guy got the whole party mood going.
YY's dance moves were a marvel to behold. George and I tried our best to emulate them to no avail.
the girls weren't too big on the whole dancing thing though and they mostly sat quietly in the corner.
Funny enough to see those normally quiet, proper and serious types boogieing away. people like Shuan and Eric were great. even Iskandar looked like he's having fun. I don't know how though. HAHA
I can vaguely remember drinking quite a lot and topped it all with a Graveyard. those buggers decided to leave after I just got into the mood to dance. dang
took the NR2 home and it took like forever to come. almost considered a cab again. then i told myself i was broke. (lie). the walk from the bus stop to my block felt like a forever 1.5km. If anyone from the blocks saw a guy in a brown blazer swaying from one side of the pavement to another, there is no cause for concern. I'm pretty harmless.

i realized. not good to blog while stifling a slight hangover.
