was at town yesterday for celebrations. all around town in fact.
B..err..ok. FOREIGN WORKERS galore!. spraying and fights as usual.
twits appearing like they have been deprived of low senseless fun for millenias.
people are almost forgetting the real meaning and purpose behind christmas and new years'
had it with them. for the record , i didnt waste a single cent on aerosol sprays.

was actually destined to rot at home. with everyone deciding to stay home rather than hitting the streets.
Hakim came to the rescue. haha. met up. headed down to catch the match.
detoured to flea market at Tanglin. not much to look at this time. bus-ed back to Balcony n Coke-Red in our quest for an ever elusive place broadcasting the match.
met Xiuxian working at Balcony. and Zaki + Dynn + Suriya after floorball training.
hakim went nuts with the X-box ( WinningEleven7) at coke red. while i laid back with my crispy chicken. darn yummy i tell you! haha.
carol off-ed work 3 hrs ago after i inquired with her colleague. see la , carol!.. we YOU YUAN , WU FEN. hahhaa!

decided to bus to Chijmes.
sat down at Bobby Rubinos. watched Man Utd thump Bolton 4-1. hurrah!
Countdown began. clock struck 12. angmohs went mad. hysterical maybe.
soaked it all up.. haha.
met up with Amanda and her man. chatted and stuffs.
left for Indochine Wisma. bus services apparently stopped. lots of imbeciles waiting in vain for the tiny glimmer of hope that a bus might rumble by.
hah. laughable. made our way back to LA BAROQUE at chijmes.
FUN BEGINS.

LA BAROQUE with its BANGRA rock. very first time i experienced BANGRA dance.
very heavy bass. rocked the entire place. haha. can be heard from the outside even.
pretty cool i must say. although the prices were a killer.
got comfortable. drank and drank.
cosied up with a bunch of people. 1 NS guy and the others Ngee Ann-ians.
noticed a rather cute one among them in black spag. stripe. great dance moves. SLICK!
and this one can drink!. downed mugs after mugs and a FLAMING.! incredible stuffs.
then immediately asked for ice. bartender had a sense of humour. presented her with a huge block of ice. haha. MAT humour!
ended up toasting and engaging in small chatter.
danced in circles to banghra beats. went virtually mad. grindings here and there. maybe accidental. i dont know.
dancing just wasnt Hakim's thing. man curled up in a comfy corner instead.
blew quite a bit of quid. gotta save up now.

headed to Bencoolen for some early morning chow. the perfect rainy morning. everything slow moving. admiring the gothic and bohemian architecture abound.
roti john was fantastic. or perhaps , any chow to a hungry man is good chow.
met Nasri. and his MAT frens. coolness.
ended up rotting at some bus stop for nearly 45 mins in waiting for first bus.
sat and chatted. discussed intellectual stuffs. existence of God. Love. Family. Life.
began a senseless game of bottle soccer on the roads. both of us slipped from the slippery surface. got all dirty. darn.
bus arrived. alighted at Novena. there was an eerie silence to Novena mrt and Novena Square.
the nearby TTS hospital added to the suspense.
perhaps its just me. but the air was stagnant and still. the toilets were worse. ive experienced that before..

caught first train home. both feet already in great deal of pain from the night out.
should have bought size 10 sneakers instead of 9. GRrRrRrr!
got myself cleaned up and crashed at 9am. woke at 630pm.
