IT WAS FUN. IT WAS TIRING. IT WAS MEMORABLE.
it all started on the first day.
----------
Day 1
lotsa stuff moving around. heavy ass stages and platforms. tough coolie labour and not worth the money at all. did a lot of goodie bag packing as well. was told to turn up in jeans.
jeans were soaked through. felt like some chicken simmering in a hot pot inside my clothes. drenched in sweat throughout. never had such a intense 10 hour workout for ages.
wait. make that NEVER BEFORE. i turned up at work that day in a headband. looking as retarded as before. i reacquainted myself with the good ol' slipper.

we are cool!
Day 2
not physically intensive at all. morning was spent with me in agonizing pain from diarrhea since the day before. didn't manage to enjoy learning the dance and cheer at all.
it felt better in the afternoon after a hearty meal. strange, but true. did more goodie bag packing. was really relaxing. made friends with a couple of people there. smuggled many t- shirts back.
iskandar would be proud to tell you all about my exploits. his bag was the main accomplice in crime without him in the knowing. soccer IG girls were hot. cut my hair the day before. re-introduced the mohawk.
as KC would say, "I FEEL SO ME NOW."

a little ragged and out of form. pic was taken after a whole day's work.
Day 3
a mixture of day 1 and day 2. both physically taxing and relaxing at times. day sure had its high and low moments. basically everything on this day was in preparation for the FOP camp on day 4 and day 5.
so much effort being put into it. iskandar and i assigned to School of Health and Wellness. also the day i met up with Chenhuat, Dale and their friend, Fund from workplace. Marilyn as well. girl was there for orientation day 1 and got hopelessly lost.
Melissa would laugh her head off if she reads this. everything also VIRUS, VIRUS, VIRUS!
isk and I were then clearing up Agora Hall 2 and it was strung with litter especially mineral water bottles. (bear in mind that every hall was the size of a normal convention hall)
we were given instructions to get rid of every bottle of mineral that has been opened. but the fuck-care attitude of mine took over my senses really. i ended up tossing every single bottle of mineral water towards the TO THROW pile we amassed. isk was soon at the pile trying to sort out the bottles and separate them into boxes and bags and this conversation took place :
isk : eh ced, this one not opened yet la. why you throw away? keep back la
ced : aiyah. cannot be bothered really. so much trash to clear!
isk : still unopened and full lehhh
ced : [proceeds to break plastic seal and gulps down a huge mouthful of water]
isk : -_- '''
Day 4
a most enjoyable day although it got a little depressing towards the end. isk and i handled most of the registration work at the SHL booth and eye candies were aplenty. made some new friends of course. I'm friendly. over friendly perhaps. I'm like the kinda guy who does the craziest most retarded stuff out there. isk was both wowed and annoyed by my antics. hahaha. lunch hour was chaotic.
reports were made complaining about worms being found in the food. more slacking around for like up to 4 hours and then intensive area cleaning. debrief hit a new low when one of the temporary staff had a mini stand-off with some OSG guy. tomorrow's work would likely be hell.
some madcap guy from SHL brought mass gainer to the camp.

I KID YOU NOT.
Day 5
most hectic day of the week. day began off late and i made isk wait for me. felt really really bad. did a lot of relocating and moving of stuff and things got really chaotic at times.
it was like the first day except like 2 times worse. had to remove shoes and wade into the pool of mud they call a pitch after lunch and a thunderstorm. made a total of 6 trips to the field and back and re-emerged every time caked in mud smelling like dung.
lunchtime cocked up as well and food got misplaced. no worms this time though. a whole afternoon of more shite work ensued.
party began late due to teething problems and everyone was having fun. we organizers were going wild with the leftover face paint. running around and smearing everyone's faces with it. i got hit rather badly. HAHAHA. music was incredible. people were CRAZY. but with great fun comes great maintenance.
cleaning up work was bad as well. had to wade into mud again to retrieve litter and do general area cleaning. felt even more filthy. debrief was soon up and it was well, brief. bosses thanked everyone and all. the norm. what a touching moment.i made some fantabulous friends there from the other polys.

an award for myself.
